Detached folio from a dispersed copy of Khamsa (Quintet) by Nizami; text: Turkish in black nasta'liq script; recto: left-hand half of a double-page frontispiece mounted on an unrelated page from a Divan of Ali Shir Nava'i, facing folio (S1986.191.1); A prince hunting; verso: page of text from the Divan of Ali Shir Nava'i; two columns, twelve lines of text; one of a group of two folios.
Border: The recto is set in a red and gold inner frame and an illuminated outer frame; the verso is set in green, gold and red rulings mounted on paperboard.
