Shape: Fragment of the neck (apparently) of a moderately large glazed stoneware jar. Wheel thrown.The shard wall is 0.4 - 0.5 cm thick.
Clay: The body consists of a moderately coarse, light-gray clay with many dark inclusions.
Glaze: The glaze on the exterior of the shard is a finely crazed, pale seawater-green celadon while the inside of the shard is covered with a rich chocolate-brown iron glaze. The brown-glazed side of the shard is discolored, suggesting a problem during firing.
Decoration: None.
Marks: None.
