[1] The stamp on the verso of the painting reads: “Shanti Sharma Vidhya Bhavan, Udaipur [inventory no.] T27/209.” The stamp indicates that the painting was in the collection of the shop, Shanti Sharma Vidhya Bhavan in Udaipur, India. It is unclear if William K. Ehrenfeld purchased it directly from Shanti Sharma Vidhya Bhavan or whether he acquired it from another dealer or collector.
