Album of sample prints, Vol. II of XII (Vol. X missing)

Vol. 2 of 12 (Vol. 10 now missing) from a set of print sample albums. Daikokuya, Tokyo publisher. Paper label affixed to front cover of each, inscribed in ink: “Squares”. Each volume with (originally) 20 prints by various artists (some prints now removed or missing).

The album is numbered on the cover with a rubberstamp as to its place in the series. However, the prints are numbered consecutively through the whole set of albums: 1 through 240. This is done with a rubberstamp on the album page above each print.
