The vessel has low curving sides and a broad low foot ring. Blue and white decoration cover the surface. Within the central circular area of the inside surface is a decoration of birds and floral elements. Surrounding this area is a wide annular band that extends to the rim and contains twelve panels with the same floral decoration. The exterior is simply decorated with blue lines, ten of which radiate out from two blue lines that circle the foot ring. Another blue line circles just below the rim. The glaze has a distinct crackle.
