Plate

Polychrome ceramic plate with a shallow body, wide-lipped rim and low raised foot ring. The pinkish red ware is decorated on the front with blue, green, yellow/tan and brick red floral designs on a white (slip) background. The back is plain white with faint, dark green lines encircling the ring and foot. The plate has a clear overglaze except for the foot, which is covered with a dark brown crusty layer. There are two drilled holes in the foot ring, with metal wire twisted through one.
