Inscription(s)

1. (Louise A. Cort, 6 December 1993) Paper label attached to base of jar bears printed name of Tamba Kotokan in Sasayama and inscription in ink: 65, jar with four lugs and variegated (yohen) glaze. Presumably this jar appeared in an exhibition at the Tamba Kotokan in Sasayama sometime before 1971, when the Hauges acquired it.
