- Description

Baluster-shaped vase with fairly wide mouth, averted lip and thin rim. Body tapers down into tall stem which rests on spreading foot tapered to form footring.
Clay: Porcelain, footrim slightly darkened on surface by use.
Glaze: Pink (copper) pigment appears to be dusted on lip, rim, underside of rim, shoulder and body under colorless glaze. Colorless glaze also applied to interior and foot. The glaze has fired a dark grey in several places on the body. Red (copper) splotches scattered on body and stem. Unglazed footrim.
Decoration: none.
Mark: none.
