Clay: porcelain, fine, white
Glaze: transparent, colorless
Decoration: in overglaze enamels only -- red, yellow, blue and green -- with outlines either in black or in red. Red zigzag motif on the slightly conical neck. Blue and green petal pattern outlined in black on shoulder. Single or double red lines defining edge of neck, join of neck and shoulder, lower edge of shoulder pattern, base. Large major motifs of chrysanthemum plant in full bloom above a rock on one side, phoenix seated in a blooming prunus tree on the other, the extended branches of the two plants nearly touching.
