- Description

Bowl; straight lip and rather high foot; interior of foot cut into the body.
Clay: porcelain, slightly oxidized where exposed on footrim.
Glaze: clear, dry and slightly matt surface, worn on bottom; large irregular crackle.
Decoration: in underglaze cobalt. Outside: narrow geometric border below rim; on wall, lotus vinescroll with two alternating forms of lotus blossoms and dense foliage; single horizontal band at base; three bands defining foot. Inside: narrow geometric border below rim; on wall, lotus vinescroll with small blossoms, sparse foliage and some free-floating leaves; four-pronged vajra in bottom.
