Vase on expanding foot ring, high bulbous shoulder; short, wide neck. Repairs and repainting on lip and shoulder.
Clay: buff stoneware.
Glaze: thin, transparent; black inside.
Decoration: figures and floral in panels and bands, painted in black and brown on cream slip under the glaze.2. Glaze: thin: transparent, over decoration; black inside; base unglazed.
Decoration: painted in black and brown on cream slip; three roughly lozenge-shaped panels in waist to shoulder band, two with figures in landscape, one with cranes and bamboo, scroll fill between panels; wide lotus panel band at base; other bands of various foliate and floral or cloud scroll pattern.
