Detached folio from a dispersed copy of the Qur'an; recto: Sura al- Ahzab (the Combined forces) 33: part of verse 26, verses 27-29, and a few phrases of 30, recto begins with "wa qadhafa", one column, 7 lines of text; verso: sura 33: 30, verso begins with "minkunna", an inscribed shamsa in gold and blue set within four small roundels, one column, 2 lines of text; Arabic in black and gold muhaqqaq script; illuminated rosette verse markers; roundels, marginal medallions; vocalized in black and gold with red letters for recitation and reading; one of a group of 3 folios.
Border: The text is set in gold and black rulings on cream-colored paper.
