Detached folio from a dispersed copy of the Qur'an; recto: Sura al-Shuraa (the Consultation) 42: 1-7; one column, 9 lines of text; verso: sura 42: 7-13; one column, 12 lines; Arabic in black muhaqqaq script with a white heading in thuluth script; illuminated rosette verse markers; vocalized in red and black; illuminated title band; marginal roundel; one of a group of 5 folios.
Border: The text is set in gold-black rulings on cream-colored paper.
