Charles Lang Freer (1854-1919), acquired from an unkown source by at least 1916. The bowl is assumed to have been originally found at the Ban Koh Noi kiln site in Si Satchanalai, Chiang Mai province, Thailand [1]From 1920

- Description

Bowl: kiln waster, small ovoidal, flattened in the firing; attachments of kiln slag.
Clay: dense, gray.
Glaze: brilliant, transparent celadon, crackled; a pool of deep green inside.
Decoration: channeled and incised in the paste.
