Jar: tall ellipsoidal; short cylindrical neck and rounded lip.
Clay: hard, dense, gray stone-ware, medium-brown where exposed.
Glaze: dark lustrous gray, with over-flowing splash of mingled blue, green, gray and white; pitted. Iron glaze with application of high-silica glaze to neck and shoulder (or ash deposited during firing?)
