Dish, shallow, with a flaring, edged rim; bold foot.
Clay: soft, dense, white.
Glaze: deep cream, crazed; iridescent areas of incipent disintegration.
Decoration: in deep-blue, turquoise green, and “aubergine,” with reserve. Inscription.

Around the inside is a graceful but scarcely legible cursive Arabic inscription:
[Arb]
"Power eternal, and Prosperity superabundant, and Victory triumphant, and Insight penetrating, and Plenty enduring, and Happiness..., it gives to its pos (sessor)."
