Clay: dense, buff, not very hard. Underfired porcelain.
Glaze: soft cream-white, discolored. Underfired clear glaze.
Decoration: painted in cobalt, under glaze. Central motif on shoulder, 2 phoenixes with streaming tails. 4 other tiers of cloud and flower patterns.
