Flower vase (hana-ike) with metal loop for hanging; shape of a lotus leaf into a cornucopia. Lacquer repairs.
Clay: coarse, filled with tiny pebbles; fired red where it shows unglazed.
Glaze: thin and brown overflowed in some areas by thick, creamy tan; some crackle.
Decoration: veins of leaf incised.
