1902년 이전 뉴욕주 뉴욕 및 로드아릴랜드주 뉴포트의 Samuel Colman(1832-1920)이 1902년까지 소장 [1]1902년부터 1919년 Charles Lang Freer(1854-1919)가 1902년 3월 19일부터 22일까지 뉴욕 American Art Association에서 개최한 Samuel Colman 컬렉션 경매에서 구입하여 소장 [2]1920년 이후 프리어미술관 소장, 1920년 Charles Lang Freer 기증 [3]각주:[1] 폴더 시트 내 기록일자 미상의 메모 참조. 프리어새클러미술관 아카이브 소장 Original Pottery List, L. 1144 참조. Samuel Colman은 적어도 1880년까지 아시아 미술품을 수집했음(해당 유물 기록 중 Louise Cort의 2007년 4월 20일자 큐레이터 의견 12번 항목 참조).[2] 각주 1 참조.[3] Charles Lang Freer 기증 증서 원본은 1906년에 서명되었음. 기증품은 프리어미술관 완공 당시인 1920년에 수증함.
